"Sage was my first in-person rope teacher in 2021 and someone I have come back to for education at different points in my rope journey due to their depth and breadth of knowledge. After a lot of self tie explorations and meeting a new rope partner in the pandemic, we started taking private classes (as the rope bottom in my tying pair) monthly for a year+. Sage teaches in a grounded, practical, adaptive manner to somatically connect to our rope practice. Linking breath, emotional awareness, movement and presence, Sage teaches from an embodied place. Sages wisdom guided us to piece together our own starting rope philosophy along with the technical parts of tying. Those foundational philosophy pieces flowed out into the rest of my life, altering my relationship with my own body and transforming my views on intimacy and sexuality. It has been an honor to have my growth, joy, frustration and deep emotional world witnessed by Sage."
