For over a decade, I’ve walked the path of a rope ritualist, yet I continually find myself drawn to the seat of the student. There’s a profound beauty in returning to the space of learning—opening myself to growth, discovery, and the wisdom that only comes from being willing to be taught. For me, learning is expansion, a journey that invites constant transformation when approached with an open heart.

As 2024 came to a close, I had the honor of experiencing my first and only rope lesson of the year. It had been some time since I stepped into the role of a learner, for reasons both known and unknown, yet the call to deepen my practice grew too strong to ignore. It felt like coming home.

Reuniting with learning through @tatianalimati was serendipitous, a meeting perfectly timed for what my soul craved. Together, we explored the fundamentals of rope through the lens of the four elements. This perspective was transformative—connecting me to the essence of self, the power of shared presence, and the unspoken language of rope that weaves through us all.

Rope continues to astonish me with its ability to wrap, hold, and bind us—not just to itself but to one another, creating moments of profound connection.

Sharing this class with my lover and partner was a journey into deep entanglement—a space where we explored new depths of connection within our union. Rope became our tool, our language, guiding us as we moved together with ease and intention. In those moments, we found ourselves flowing effortlessly, bound not just by the ties but by the profound harmony between us
